Designed as a modern town to help with London’s overspill in the 60s, it has been a superb planned success story and is a great destination for visitors. Tons of interesting places await the family in MK. Woburn Safari Park is the UK’s largest drive-through safari, but if you’d prefer to ski the massive Xscape Complex has loads of activities including indoor snowboarding and skiing. Kids up to the age of 13 will be blown away by the scale of Gulliver’s Land and there are plenty more fun distractions. It’s also an incredibly bike-friendly environment, allowing you to avoid most regular roads altogether.

The Hub in central MK has a wonderful array of outlets, and when you combine thecentre:mk and Midsummer Place you end up with an absolutely enormous choice of shops, boutiques, restaurants and much more.
